I think he was simply confused that people could care MORE about a birds nest than Darfur. <BR/><BR/>I think it highlights an American paradox. Most people want to care about issues of injustice, but it can take them TOO far out of their comfort zone. ex. = "we save trees but kill babies..."<BR/><BR/>Saving trees is relatively easy to do and it makes people feel good about themselves.
